Frequently Asked Questions

Electrical, carpentry, and the everyday fixes in between — here's what North Indianapolis homeowners ask Cade most. Don't see your question? Just ask.

Our work

What does Wood & Wire Home Solutions do?

We're a North Indianapolis home-services company specializing in residential electrical work and custom carpentry. From lighting and ceiling fans to garden beds, trellises, shelving, and room refreshes, it's all handled to one insured, owner-operated standard.

Are you a handyman or an electrician?

Both, really. Cade started as a residential electrician and that's still his bread and butter, but he's also a skilled carpenter who takes on general handyman projects around the home. Think of Wood & Wire as more than a general handyman.

What kind of electrical work do you do?

Residential electrical work such as lighting installation, ceiling fan installs, fixture upgrades, and electrical troubleshooting and repair. Planning something bigger or not sure if it's in our wheelhouse? Just ask — Cade will give you a straight answer.

What kind of carpentry do you do?

Custom rough carpentry and built-ins — raised garden beds, trellises, planters, shelving, and similar sturdy, made-to-last projects. Carpentry is a real craft for Cade; much of what you'll see in the gallery are his own builds.

Service area & getting started

What areas do you serve?

The North Indianapolis metro: Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield, Zionsville, Brownsburg, and Fortville. Just outside that list? Reach out and we'll let you know if we can help.

Do you work in Indianapolis proper?

Our focus is the northern suburbs — the seven communities above. If you're in or near Indianapolis and think we might be a fit, give us a call and we'll be straight with you about whether we can take it on.

How do I get a quote or estimate?

Estimates are free. Call or text Cade at 765-617-8126, email [email protected], or tap the Contact Us button on any page — tell us a little about the project and we'll get back to you, usually the same day.

How soon can you start?

Typical lead time is about one week. Cade keeps an honest schedule — reach out and he'll give you a realistic timeframe up front.

Trust, hours & details

Are you licensed and insured?

Wood & Wire is fully insured, and Cade is a registered contractor with the City of Fishers who takes real responsibility for his work. He's happy to talk through any questions about a specific job.

Who actually does the work?

Cade does. Wood & Wire is owner-operated, so the person you talk to is the person doing the job — no rotating crews or subcontractors sent in his place.

What are your hours?

Our posted hours are Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–5 PM. The fastest way to reach Cade any time is a quick text to 765-617-8126.

Do you offer emergency or same-day service?

For anything urgent, text or call 765-617-8126 and we'll respond as quickly as we can.

How do you price your work, and what payment methods do you accept?

Most work is priced flat per project, with a $150 minimum service fee — and every estimate is free and comes with no obligation, so you'll know the cost before any work begins. We accept cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, and card (card payments carry a small processing fee).

Still Have a Question?

Cade's happy to talk it through — no pressure, no obligation.
